Hi everyone! Here are some tips to help you succeed in AP Calculus BC (OM4BC) at OHS.

  1. Try to watch both the lectures and read the book before class.

  2. Start the written and Wiley Plus homework before class to get a better sense of the problems (some of the problems in class will be similar to the homework ones and you may be able to go over some homework problems in class).

  3. There are a lot of similar problems in the book which help with the Wiley Plus homework.

  4. Use the written homework as practice for the midterms and finals.

  5. Don't be afraid to ask for help if and when needed (instructors, classmates, peer tutors, teaching assistants, etc.). Also, office hours are super helpful!

  6. It is recommended to try to do as many practice problems as you can in the book before and after class for preparation for the tests.

  7. Try to both get a conceptual understanding and do practice problems.

  8. It is recommended to review the written homework and do any questions one hasn't completed before the midterm and final exams.
